Codiun rail clamps used for clamping rail defects in track and forming of temporary rail joints in conjunction with associated fishplates for speeds up to 60mph.
Codiun Rail are pleased to announce that their rail defect clamp has full Network Rail and London Underground product approval. Our rail defect clamp system is quick to install and retains the integrity of the fixing bolt whereby the bolt does not bend when the torque is applied. The added feature of the optional Hardlock M24 anti-loosening system ensures the stability of the applied torque. Our system can be applied to all existing Network Rail approved imperial fishplates.
The versatility of this temporary rail clamp and its ease of use has enabled us to produce a procedure whereby one engineer can complete a temporary rail joint installation in a more cost effective way.
